How we talk

If you truly believe that it doesn’t matter how you talk to people, then why do you get upset when they speak to you in a way you don’t fancy? And most times, the unfancied is the same as what you dish out.

Yeah, I know sometimes people can get a bit too touchy but hey, let’s be real now, okay. Our words actually matter, and it’s about time we start taking them seriously.

It matters how you talk to your spouse, children, siblings, and particularly your parents. It matters how you talk to family, even more so than friends. I’m not saying it’s okay to be rude or whatever to your friends and associates…Nah. Here’s what I am saying: starting now, let’s be careful how we talk to people. And let’s start with our family.

Remember, “You can change the trajectory of people’s lives by just how you talk to them and how you treat them.”
