‘And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”’
Finally, 2020 is coming to an end, and boy, do we need Christmas this year.
So let me preach a little Christmas sermon.
God wanted to do something big, but he didn’t go to MIT, Harvard, or Oxford. He went to Nazareth. He didn’t pick the best graduating student from the University of Nazareth, nor did He choose the most experienced Nazarene of the lot. No! God chose a virgin—an inexperienced fresher!
Mary wasn’t the most qualified candidate—not by the world’s standard. But she was the chosen one.
Guess what! You are the chosen one, so stop waiting to be the best qualified before you step out and reach for what you desire. Stop waiting for the world to endorse you before you believe. God wants to do something major through you and in you!
This season, remember Mary. And I wish you a Merry (Mary) Christmas!
I guess I’m speaking to myself as much as everyone else.
From The Book of John 1:46 (NKJV).
Hallelujah, I am the chosen One!!! Thank you Pastor for this😁
Hahaha! Hallelujah indeed! Lol at pastor.
A-mazing! God didn’t choose us because we’re qualified, he qualified us because we’re his choice.
That is so apt. Thank you!
My Oga wey sabi. Master in all fields😂😂. Indeed God is faithful and I’m happy his ways are not our ways. Thank you sir for this motivation.
God is faithful indeed. Thanks plenty plenty!
Chosen to excel, chosen to reflect His glory. Hallelujah! Thank God for the miracle of Christmas
Yes o! Thank God for choosing us.
A virgin was chosen to bring eternal light to the world. Humbling!!
I dey tell you; truly humbling.
